Our Story

Rooted in Tradition

PrimoGrano is Rustichella d'Abruzzo's tribute to the wheat of its home region. In the hills of Abruzzo, heritage durum varieties are grown and milled into semolina, shaped through traditional bronze dies, and dried slowly at low temperature. The method takes longer and yields less — but it gives the pasta a rustic, porous surface that grips a sauce instead of shedding it. It's pasta made the way Abruzzo has always made it.

I love this pasta! I can't eat regular pasta but from Italy I can digest without any problems. It is absolutely delicious as well. My favorite way to cook is with pesto and fish on top. Highly recommend!

This pasta is very good, no issues later which is great! Made a quick dish of sautéed mushroom with chicken & spices with the pasta & Graziers Raw Cheddar with a little olive oil.

It's a pasta that would be great in soup, other pasta dishes, etc.
