Manny’s Choice Honey Rolls

Ingredients
Crust
- 3 1/2 cups Manny's Choice Flour
- 1 tbsp Caputo Lievito Dry Yeast
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Warm the liquids: In a saucepan, add the water, milk, honey, and butter. Next, on low heat, warm the mixture and stir until the honey and butter is melted and combined. The mixture should be warm but not hot to the touch.
- Make the dough: To make the dough, first pour the warmed liquids into a large bowl. Sprinkle the yeast on top and stir to combine. The yeast will take around five minutes to activate and will look foamy. Next, using a dough hook or a hand-held mixer, add the salt and the flour slowly to the bowl while mixing on low speed. Once all the flour is added, ifthe dough is still sticking to the sides add a little more flour. The dough should be mixed for 5 minutes total.
- Make the roll: Form the dough in the shape of a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Next, cover the bowl with a damp towel to let it rise for 15 minutes. Next, punch the dough down and form the dough into 12 equal balls. Then, place the dough balls in a greased baking dish and cover with a damp towel, and let the dough rise again for another 15 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Uncover the rolls after rising and place in the oven, and bake for 17-22 minutes. The rolls should be slightly golden brown on top and smell delicious. Finally, when the rolls are hot out of the oven, generously top with butter and drizzle as much honey as you would like. The more the better!
