Prep the apples: First, core and chop all the apples into cubes. Next, in a bowl add the apples, granulated sugar, 1 tsp of cinnamon, vanilla, and stir to combine. Then, set the mixture aside.
Make the crisp topping: First, using a separate bowl, add Manny’s Choice Flour, brown sugar, 2 tsps. of cinnamon, oats, salt, and cold diced butter. Then, using a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the oat mixture. Press down and twist. Keep mixing until the mixture is combined and made into crumbs.
Bake: Preheat the oven to 350 °F. Next, butter an 8x8” baking dish and add the apple mixture to the bottom. Spread this mixture evenly with a spatula. Then, top the apple mixture with the crisp topping and spread evenly. Lastly, bake for 40-50 minutes. Best served with ice cream or whipped cream!
