Rustichella d’Abruzzo introduces ZeroTre, a new line of Italian pastina for the youngest pasta eaters.
Annellitti (“little rings”) are crafted from 100% organic durum wheat semolina blended with pure Apennine mountain spring water. Served in a classic tomato sauce or simply with melted butter and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, they make a wholesome, nutritious, and fun-to-eat meal for children—or pasta lovers of any age.
At the schools, the children work in the vegetable garden, eat wholesome foods and learn all about the traditional foods of Abruzzo. Maria Stefania’s work with these kids was the inspiration for developing this very special line of nutritious pastine with Rustichella d’Abruzzo.
Maria Stefania Peduzzi and her brother Gianluigi Peduzzi, owners of Rustichella d’Abruzzo, also own two progressive pre-K–6 schools in their hometown. At these schools, children work in the vegetable garden, eat wholesome foods and learn all about the traditional cuisine of Abruzzo.
Maria Stefania’s work with the kids inspired the ZeroTre Pasta line, a collection of pasta cuts tasted, tested and most loved by the schoolchildren themselves.
